Since 1999, Tim has been the in-house voice over artist for TVSN, the shopping channel on Pay TV, and EXPO on Austar and Optus TV. Additionally, he was heard regularly presenting the Sports Diary on Austar’s Channel 99.
Due to his radio news and feature story work, he is a member of the Australian Journalists Association, and the Australian Centre for Independent Journalism at the University of Technology, Sydney. Tim was also presented with an Honorary Membership into the Australian Cinematographers Society (November 2001) in recognition of his support of Australian Cinematographers both locally and abroad.
Tim worked as an independent foreign correspondent during the 2003 Rugby World Cup. Outside of Australia, his match reports were broadcast by 20 stations, located in New Zealand, South Africa, England, Scotland and Wales. Additionally in 2003, he presented sports updates for Macquarie National News on weekend mornings, heard on radio 2GB (873 Khz -AM) in Sydney, and on affiliated stations. He was the stadium announcer for the Adidas International Tennis in Sydney during January 2004, and provided updates to radio stations around the world during the event.
