John McCullough began his acting and voice over career in the early 90’s. His television credits include Round the Twist, Ocean Girl, Blue Heelers, Neighbours, Secrets and the telemovie See Jack Run. He played lead roles in several Victorian College of the Arts films, giving him the opportunity to explore a variety of weird, wonderful and grotesque characters! John’s natural ability to easily adapt his voice to reflect any style and attitude led to extensive voice over work with clients such as Village Roadshow, Coca Cola, Mars, The Age, The Australian Ballet, NAB, Mitsubishi, Quit and the Department of Labour. He is probably best remembered for his voice portrayal of the gunman in The Siege episode of Frontline. More recently, John has been an assistant principal and drama teacher. Public speaking, story telling, narrating and directing dozens of school productions has only served to hone John’s speaking voice.
John’s delivery is warm and natural. His voice gives credibility to any product or campaign. But don’t be fooled, as he will surprise you with his terribly refined English character voice, then be a broad Aussie bloke in the next breath.
John is back in town!
