Standard Prices and Terms
These rates are based on the current Australian Media, Entertainment & Arts Alliance awards.
Note: The rates below are meant as a guide to standard prices for Australian artists only.
All Prices quoted are in Australian Dollars.
These voiceover artist rates include Full Buy Outs.
These voiceover talent rates are for finished dry/cold voice only.
These prices include:
- voiceover artist fees
- studio time (recording and production)
- encoding into wav, aiff, ra or mp3 file formats and
- delivery by e-mail or FTP.
Character voices are $140 per character per hour on top of the voiceover fee.
Many of the voiceover artists represented charge differing rates.

Scale
Radio scale is for all radio commercials, Television scale is for all Television commercials, Corporate scale is for radio plays, documentaries, narrations and corporate presentations. Web Audio is for websites. CD-ROM is for multimedia and other forms of audio content.
Production Fee
This fee is paid per session.
Voiceover Fee
The final length of the recorded voice time (NOT the time spent recording) is rounded up to 30 seconds and charged on a per-30-second basis.
Character Voices
Means any voice or sound that is beyond the range of a voiceover artist's normal reading voice, including any accent or voice for animated character. (Broadcast clearance of voice impersonation is the clients responsibility).
Payment
We accept cheques, money orders and credit cards. If paying by cheque the funds must clear prior to delivery. Please allow 3 working days for this. If paying by credit card, details must be provided prior to writing but will only be charged to the account after the recordings have been sent. We accept Bankcard, VisaCard and MasterCard.
Delivery
The prices include electronic delivery. Where it is requested or when the file size is greater than 10MB, the recordings will be delivered via Airmail CD for a fee of $15 ex GST
Rerecordings
If the recordings are defective, the voice artist must rerecord the voiceover without any further charge. If the rerecording is not due to any defect but a stylistic preference (e.g. pronunciation), the fee to rerecord will be half of the scale fee.
Rates
The rates are subject to change without notice, however bookings made will be charged at the time of booking. The above rates are not inclusive of GST (Goods and Services Tax) however GST will be charged on all jobs.
The rates on this page are minimum rates only. Agents and performers are free to negotiate rates with producers/advertisers in excess of the rates set out here.
Usage
Usage is considered to commence from the date of recording unless first on air date is advised.
